we could mount it on the roof of the building at the HQ that would give good fields of fire and some small AA ability

In any case HMGs can be bought as vehicles. We just need some… liquidity.

just done some scouting
lots of troops near the outpost to the west past the factory
including a bloody helicopter
and armed tower aswell as the main outpost
road block as i was heading back, now marked on map
… still not sure about these road blocks … I had just driven past the outpost with an attack chopper there, with no problem, yet i got lit up by this little road block

That’s awesome work.
What we can do next is also try to hire some mercs from the available HR and form like a couple of full fire-teams in preparation for a larger attack.
Maybe have a few manning defenses.

Edit: as a side note that HR on top of the screen is the amount of people that are willing to join us.
That amount can be recruited for all sorts of war cr… Ehrrr… rebel activities.

Yeah as I mentioned last night we might start considering every roadblock /checkpoint a priority target.
Have you discovered the high command squads yet? They can be used to overcome the numerical advantage of the opposing force.

with mortars there is a chance of counter battery fire, for each shot you fire 
shoot and scoot

not against the current opposition… i did see a wildcat … and the Csat forces have something that looks like a cross between a Ka50 and a MI28

I just had a go at the resource center, on scouting I found 6 soldiers all standing in one of the out buildings … which had a open window and cover on one side … so i checked the area then threw 3 hand grenades in and ran like hell … after it had settled down a bit I sneaked back in and saw lots of bodies on the ground, but just as I pulled out my smg, one of the soldiers must not have been that badly hurt … and managed to get me before I could bring my gun to bear
