Miles Teller casted to Play Goose’s son.

It’s only been 33 years!

Apparently Bruckheimer and crew are shooting flight ops aboard the Abraham Lincoln right now:

Just imagine, 95 percent of the people on that boat weren’t alive when the original was released. Ugh.

Could’ve gone all day without hearing that.

I don’t believe that carrier existed when the original was released.

Ooh, you’re right. Seeing as Lincoln just came out of her midlife RCOH, which usually happens around 25-ish years (plus 3-4 for the actual work).

Having just finished Raven One, I couldn’t help but think that it would have been the perfect content for TG2.

Yeah, but would it have met the recruiting goals? That’s the important bit!

Possibly bad news:

I was a little annoyed at first, then…

And then I remembered I was a fan of A-6’s and Flight of the Intruder, not F-14s and homoerotic scenes under the pretext of recruitment Top Gun.

In the business, we call that truth in advertising.

According to Tony Scott, it was there to give the guys’ girlfriends suffering through the film beside them at the theater something to look at for a few minutes.

No idea if he was telling the truth or not.

Yeaaahhh, I’m gonna have to put that one into the category of “tall tales told with dump trucks worth of USDA grade-A bovine excrement.”

Sounds unwatchable. But so are all the recent Disney Star Wars flicks. And as with those, so with this. I’ll be there opening nite.

So there’s this. We might need a skin for our Charlies.

That thing is pimped. Hornets look so much better when they are grungy and look like they’ve been in a fight.

Yup, it’s a thing. Also, the dude’s been flying to work in his personal P-51. Not bad.
