Meet you half way with a generic canard aircraft…?

Semper viper baby!

As a fervent Linux user, I’ve never once in my life written a single line of C code or compiled a kernel. I do write Python, Bash, Golang, Nix though.
And this is in my office, not my bedroom.
Not pictured: Intel NUC minipc and 2 Raspberry Pis (none of which are in the bedroom).
No idea where those stories come from.

I have an idea… ![]()
I have one laptop. I also use Google sheets. I’m a rebel ![]()
As an on-and-off Linux user, the only time I ever compiled the kernel is when we had to do it at Uni.
Debian has been such a great distro… I just keep coming back to it!
I will never learn Java. Ridiculous.
Funny how no one comments on the “regular expression that would make other programmers cry blood”.
Guilty as charged…
My finger was itching for that, but really what makes me want to comment is the three different keyboard layouts. A fellow qwerty warrior.

Haha yeah that’s just a consequence of searching for the best used CPU + 16GB RAM + SSD laptops you can get for 70 bucks or less.
They tend to have 2 of the following:
- partially broken frame
- battery that lasts < 1 hour
- wrong keyboard layout for the country they are in
All irrelevant if used as a server

Edit: who of y’all likes Mettbrötchen? I heard that some people think it is a joke and not real.
I know my wife does NOT like it. ![]()

Raw pork?
Not a fan of trichinosis myself.
It’s not just “raw meat”. It’s held to very high standards.
For example i wouldn’t dare to touch anything like that in the US. No offense.
Mett is raw Schweinsfaschiertes? Didn’t know you guys like to live that dangerously. ![]()
I like sashimi and I have had carpaccio on more than one occasion.
But, when it comes to eating raw meat I subscribe to the ‘less is more’ school of thought and I have never been brave enough to order the steak tartare - and that looks pretty similar except made with pork instead of beef.
Beef is far less perishable than pork. You can dry age beef for prolonged periods, whereas if you did that with pork, it would definitely end you.
