I am learning to fly helicopters to commercial/military standards as far as dcs permits. I won’t get the Hind but will get the Apache in due course.
Yeah I removed my chair’s wheels. Simple yet effective.
I am thinking of pulling the rollers out for just that reason
Gorilla glue
I think I’m gonna retrofit…

I’m gonna take one of those to Walmart one day (in the hopefully distant future)! ![]()
I use 5 like these under the wheels:
I got mine for free when working for a car parts wholesaler and they where throving out a large number of old car replacement kits for mufflers, brakes and other stuff.
Happy Simming
Those look like…err…nevermind…
Yeah I know right!? Licorice bagels! I was thinking exactly the same thing!

Oh lordy that is cool. Forget Wall-e…
Chair-e!! Yes!!
This may sound silly, but one of the big items on my list after being done with University was taking better care of myself. I’m fortunate in that I’m blessed with rather resilient teeth, but still I absolutely despise going to the dentist. So today i’ve been there the third time this year (the other two were superficial work touching up some plastic fillings that were starting to crack due to age) and had two wisdom teeth removed. Sucks, but had to be done. My face looks like i’ve just had a stroke and i loathe the moment that the local anesthetics wear off, but I’m glad I’ve finally gotten it over with.
Oh dear. You reminded me of something there…
In case of wisdom teeth, the sooner you do it the better, they say. Bone regeneration gets worse with age.
Actually it is more of a general thing for me.
I haven’t been to a dentist (or any doctor) for way, way, way too long. Long enough that I am pretty sure that once I go they will find LOTS of things. And send me to half a dozen other doctors.
In fact I have a list of “medical stuff I should get a doctor to look after at some point” but I just never do.
Once or twice a year (tops) I go to the doctor because I am sick and need another day or two to get on my feet again. I then proceed to go to work as soon as I can (even if I am still sick) because I am an idiot and don’t want to go to the doctor again.
It is an embarrassing thing every damn time. They say “you should come and bring your vaccination certificate” (which I lost several years ago, just after I got a new one because I lost my old one several years prior) “and you should also come for the free cancer checkup” (I never went. I don’t go to the doctor unless I am sick. And then there are always like two dozen people in the waiting room and everyone is in a hurry and sick and disgusting and I feel like a hypochondriac for going there because I can still walk).
COVID is a gift in that regard. Everybody understands that I don’t go to the doctor.
At this point I am too embarrassed to go. In fact I am pretty sure that I will die of something really stupid one day, because I am an idiot who doesn’t go to the doctor.
“Hey Mr Aginor you have cancer! Why didn’t you come earlier?”
You’re just afraid of the doc, admit it ![]()
There are few things in life I fear. I’ll happily jump in the ring with a dude who’s got twenty pounds and a foot on me. I’ll speak to a hundred people if you ask me to. But the dentist. Frack. Cold sweats, every time. The sort of sweat that reeks of fear.
I hate the doctors as well. I’ll pour superglue into a wound and have it go green long before I consider going.
I Once slashed my wrist really deep by using a drill bit instead of a chuck key on my drill and my wife nearly fainted when she saw it. She insisted I go to hospital but when I told her I was either driving myself or she was going to fix it she relented and stitched it herself.
I’m not being ‘manly’ I’m just scared to death of hospital and drs
Ay Caramba, that Ibuprofin they gave me sure tastes like c***, but it’s not doing much else.
Cats? Cold? Cube?
Hmm.
