Its good. Not at all Tom Cruise. Its pure Reacher as in the books
Holy ship, does that take me back…
NECROPOST … I’m just nearing the end of The Last Dance. I HIGHLY recommended it even though I’m not really a basketball fan!
Watched St Vincent with Bill Murray and Melissa McCarthy on Netflix this morning.
Netflix Link: https://www.netflix.com/title/70295665/
Figured I would watch ten maybe fifteen minutes and move on to something else but ended up getting hooked into it. Not one I will watch again in the near future but I do not regret the 90 minutes I spent watching it.
Melissa McCarthy was about half way through the Mike and Molly run when this picture was filmed. Bill Murray’s performance was more along the lines of what he did in The Razors Edge.

Another one I just started watching, tonight actually, on IMDbTV.
The Rockford Files
Hard for me to believe it has almost been 50 years since it first aired.
Wheels
One of the ear-wormiest theme songs of the 70s.
I’ve been watching Corner Gas on imdb. I got it recommended to me by my Canadian cousin. Kind of surprised I was able to get to see it, but somehow imdb has it.
It’s a bit low key, but it’s grown on me.
That was food for thought. Sparked a good and illuminating conversation between me and my wife. The tldr of that is that she endorses me pouring anticapitalism into the kids heads even if that also burdens them somewhat in life in society.
Also thank the flying spaghetti monster I’m not as radical as the dude in the movie
I watched Disney’s “Raya and the Last Dragon” with the family.
It was decent, I liked it. Not the best ever but certainly watchable. The kids enjoyed it as well.
So do i need to send you a gift for Noam Chomsky day this year?
You don’t need to but if you feel like it you are most certainly free to determine your own actions and position in the world within the bounds of reason and compassion
Heh, once I ran in anarchist punk circles but my interest in and knowledge of military matters always made suspect at best and outcast at worst. Feh. All words and no brains them dudes.
1883. I cannot fanboy enough about this series. For those that have watched the Yellowstone TV series (with Kevin Costner), 1883 is considered the prequel… it’s about the Dutton family from Tennessee traveling from Fort Worth, TX to the west. It’s a brutally honest look at life in the “wild west”, the battles between the natives and ever expanding American government. If there is anything that resonated with me, it was the cinematography. Every episode just blew me away with the camera work and the beauty of the American land “back in the day”.
The cast lineup is solid: Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, and Sam Elliott (Tombstone anyone?!) . Guest stars include Bill Bob Thornton, Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson, Graham Greene, and Taylor Sheridan (the Yellowstone and 1883 series creator/producer)
The season just finished. 10 episodes. You can binge-watch it. Do it.
I’m a bit lagged. i’m just finishing up the latest season of Yellowstone. I’ll be watching 1883 soon.
The final season of The Last Kingdom just got released. Looking forward to that.

Not to mention the latest season of Drive to Survive, which is out in a couple of days.
The only complaint I have is that they are running the playback at a slightly faster speed so the sound is all wrong. The faster playback is not noticeable in the video but your ear can really hear the difference.

Finished watching this last weekend. A really intense, stress building movie. Really well done and highly recommended.
First episode down! I’m not a huge F1 fan but I’m super interested in watching MV’s rise to power!
Oh, and I’m also a Guenther Steiner fan.
i just binge watched all 10 episodes of DtS. Pretty good. They actually managed to make Toto Wolff look less evil. Previous seasons, he was really giving that evil vibe in interviews.
Its harrowing isnt it.
