I will be looking forward to this in the near future. Apparently based on an incredible act of bravery and loyalty between two pilots fighting to survive during the Korean War. About time we got a new movie about the Korean War.

OK, what’s with this “THE BOYS” program? Everyone I know is saying it’s great even if they’re not into the whole superhero scene! I think I’ll look into it this weekend.

It is “different” superhero movie. In a good way

Lots of gratuitous violence gore and pervasive perversion. Not my thing, although I did appreciate the ‘Watchman’ vibe the story has.

Burned through all 7 seasons and 174 episodes of Adam 12 in just under a month. Having grown up in the 1970’s it was a neat trip down Nostalgia lane.
Back to Rockford now.
I am through its first three seasons and just started the 4th.
You see a lot of the same location shots in Rockford that they used in Adam 12 and Dragnet. Watching all three of the series somewhat concurrently it really sticks out after a few episode. Adam 12 used a LOT of stock footage too. Seemed like just about every episode they whipped a U-turn at the same intersection or turned right at a T intersection. The same cars were always parked in the same location so it was fairly easy to spot.

The 4k version of ST 2 is very good. Got the 4-film set early this year, and I saw the 4k Director’s Cut of TMP on Paramount +, waiting for it to come to disc.
