Just started watching The Boys this weekend. It’s so perverted, immoral and stupid that I’m starting to like it!

Same here. They might be good or crap, but either way thw CGI looks great IMO.
We can only hope. With respect to “House of the Dragon,” I believe it is not the same people who did “Game of Thrones” but don’t quote me. One would think HBO has learned from the fiasco of the original series ending.
Regarding “The Rings of Power,” Amazon spent $1billion on this series. One would think they did not skimp on screenwriters/writers. If they did, then the series is in trouble. All of this is taken from Tolkien’s Silmarillion (Quenya: [silmaˈrilliɔn]) . Small stories which again, one would think would be easier to put to a movie script than lets say the huge “Lord of the Rings.” We can only hope.
Well don’t go checking the internet because there are plenty of people out there who are taking the casting pics and statements made by the team and concluding it MUST be crap because it’s not what they wanted.

Jack Carr is one of, if not the sharpest and most positive SEAL’s I’ve ever had the pleasure of listening to. You’d never know he’d gone through the whole 20 year tour of duty thing which leaves a lot of other operators devastated. Good on him.

Only took 26 years before I got around to watching it. Found it to be an enjoyable watch. IMDB rates it 8.1 out of 10. I would not go that high but I would give it a solid 7/10

A Western tale that has been told too numerous times to mention. What was new and unique about it was the fact that Donald and Keifer Sutherland share the screen for the first time in their careers. (Not the first movie where they were credited together but they had not had any scenes together in those other movies.) IMDB rates it 6.3 out of 10. For me a 5.5 to a 6 /10 would be more accurate. Think The Outlaw Josie Wales meets Unforgiven and The Shootist with a little Witness and The Fastest Gun Alive pacifism thrown in for good measure.

IMDB rates it 6.3 out of 10. I will agree with that rating. Another enjoyable viewing but not a movie worth repeated viewings in a short period of time.

You might want to be careful bringing me into a conversation like this. I don’t want to have to be reading between the lines on things but if I start seeing the term ‘woke’ being used I am going to get very pedantic about it.
If you (the broad group definition of you (like they, them and us) not anyone in particular) don’t agree with someone’s opinion, attempting to name call or belittling someone is not going to fly. You can chose to ignore it and move on, or flag it for us to keep an eye on. We don’t need to draw guns at slights to our honour and make enemies.

Just watching the Halo series… nearly half way through… so far not bad, I know the halo fanatics have panned, but just take it for what it is and not try to tie it to in game lore … it’s pretty good
