It was a “cruise movie” once. I never got into it. Yeah, I’m one of the few people on the planet that just doesn’t get The Big Lebowski. It is a failing, to be sure. Shun me if you must.

Heh, Hangar’s list including Omega Man and Andromeda Strain are the last films you’ve mentioned here that I care for.
Haven’t even tried to see the rest, except O Brother Where Art Thou and as I already know the Odyssey it’s not like I need to see it again. Biggest problem with that film was buying that singing voice coming out of Clooney’s mouth. Vocal mismatch.

For clarification, I had to look up the word “nihilism”…I basically knew what it meant but wanted the precise definition to better understand @Aginor’s comment…and the precise definition, involving ideas of extreme skepticism and the meaninglessness of life, was in fact a good description of my first marriage.
