Geesh now I have to find and watch
this !
Well I found it, watched it Netflix.
Not sure what to say it was (for me) extremely good.
Certainly puts you through a gauntlet of emotions.

The Edge: Anthony Hopkins, Alec Baldwin, & Elle Macpherson
IMDb users give it a 6.9 rating. I think that is a fair rating. I could go as high as an 8.

I watched that movie several years ago. I liked it.
Well apparently I had seen it before last night…
Review is the same.

EDIT: Test edit by Fridge
Just testing…
And editing the edit of the test…
I would LEGITIMATELY be embarrassed to turn up at an airfield in that. I love all aircraft. Without exception but this is the aviation equivalent of those Honda Civics that have been lowered to the floor and the wheel cambered to extremes.
Goin" South
Due to the lack of men after the Civil War, a small western town allows a bachelorette with ulterior motives to save a horse thief from the gallows by marrying him. They must deal with his old gang, the Sheriff, the bank, and each other.
The film only has a 6.2 rating @ IMDb which for me is a little too low. I would bump it to about a 7.5.
This was Mary Steenburgens first film.

Going to have to find this
Going South is a classic and one of my favorite movies. So many of quotable lines. My kids know if they ask me if I’m hungry, that I’ll probably answer, “Hungry? I could eat a frozen dog.”
Lately, I have been enjoying Giri/Haji on Netflix/BBC. It’s half Japanese with subtitles in Tokyo and half English in London. The story is the relationship between two brothers, one a detective and the other a hit man for the Yakuza. There is a lot of interesting Japanese culture and London thug life intertwined with the requisite good back stories. Smart with an occasional wry sense of humor. Many fine actors including Kelly McDonald (Boardwalk Empire). 1 season only. Be warned, it’s hard to watch one episode. Some cinema noir elements.
November 24th of 1987 Planes, Trains and Automobiles was in Theaters and I loved every minute of it!
Quoted from the article you linked.
He described the plane as “an aircraft with a very attractive design with a personal, modern “fighter jet-look”", adding that it “can have such power as to make dreams come true, throughout the world of flying”
Attractive is not a word I would use to describe that piece of equipment.

Return to Hardwick
Was filmed during their 2015 reunion. Sadly and quite predictably several more of the actual veterans have passed away since this was filmed.
I do not expect it will gain much traction outside of history buffs since too many people feel that WW2 is ancient history and irrelevant now but I felt it was a good documentary.

As a holiday tradition, we will be watching this on Thanksgiving Day night.
It’s so freaking funny.
I binged watched The Queen’s Gambit on Netflix. 7 episode series. I finished it all in one day. Quite engrossing.
