7.4 rating on IMDb. Still a good movie, and the 7.4 rating is fair, but it is definitely dated now.
On a side note,There are several good shots of the Twin Towers in the movie.

Wall Street. Classic movie. Made me want to become a stockbroker when I was young. I changed career paths midway through college, but still think of it.

Roger Moore’s first outing as James Bond and Jayne Seymour’s first film. Been a long time since I last saw it and for me it was worth watching again.

L&LD had its up and down moments, but had some of the best lines of the franchise.
“A genuine Felix lighter!”
“JW, he’s kind of a secret agent working with our boys.”

When I went through the Intelligence Depot at Ashford some of this was on the syllabus. We all had to do various presentations on int events and Soviet spies.

I also enjoyed it quite a bit.
Of course, it was all based on the unclassified info from one side, so it can only be so accurate, unlike say Tora Tora Tora where both sides cooperated on providing the most accurate info possible.
Even Apollo 13, where many of the participants were still alive, was fictionalized in areas because not all private conversations were recorded, remembered, or accurately relayed later on, whether from memory gaps or just privacy. I remember Lovell said “things got heated” between the 3 in the aftermath of the explosion but declined to go into detail, so the arguments you see them having in the film is in the right ballpark for tone but not in specifics.

A very well done movie IMO.
It gets almost everything right, which is very rare.

Several unknown actors in this one. The movie starts out as a WW1 in the trenches movie and then morphs into a revenge western type of movie. Not great by any means but I found it an enjoyable watch, especially for free on Amazon Prime.

“Man on fire” was an absolute unit. Loved it deeply. Even better than the original.
