Built for a museum i reckon. Without one, this collection would be rather conspicuously incomplete. There were some truly spectacular and rare specimens there. A panther in runnjng condition. A king tiger. A slew of leopards cut open to admire their innards. A bunch of awesomely weird prototypes like a two-gunned casemate version of a leopard, a crane mounted TOW launcher. Truly awesome museum.

Success! Found some corrosion around the solder joints of the bower button. After I cleaned the contacts with hand sanitizer (96% Ethanol) the Garmin booted up normally.
I just ordered a new back cover, and while I am at it also a new battery.

Visited today a very small aviation museum in a very small village in CZ.
This place was once what today we call a scenery or a map for WW2 aerial battles so the museum displays mostly stuff the farmers dug out from the fields after the war.
Plus some other stuff like what I think was the Soviet reverse engineered Sidewinder?
or a dashboard of…?
Anyone?

Had time for a little walk up in the nature area by our place the other day. Trying to get the hang of the auto focus, be less stingy with taking pictures.
Not many bird photo opportunities around except for one really amazing thing (which I wasn’t fast enough to catch of course).
These guys were practically at my feet so that was a nice break, happy how clear that wasp/yellowjacket came out.
