My question is: Did he enjoy the Stella?
That Smile has “Christmas Time” written All over it!!! Does my heart good.
I don’t know where else to put this, but when I read this article I couldn’t help but think of you @keets
I think you’re going to have to lift your game mate…
That is impressive. Shearing lambs I find harder than shearing a ewe.
I can’t get close to that sort of speed or accuracy, I think I’m down to about 3-4 minutes at my best, usually when we’ve just about finished.
My year of commuting by bike has officially come to an end but hopefully I can catch a few breaks in the rain until the new year to squeeze in some fun rides before the end of 2023.
Some stats for 2023 so far:
- 466 rides
- 528h spend in the saddle
- 14031km
- Over 40000m of climbing
I also broke the 100000km mark on Strava this week. I joined in Oktober 2016 - 7 years and two months to reach one hundred thousand kilometres!
Riding across the new Rhine bridge this week:
Taking pictures during my ride to reach 100000km:
This is what riding 114km in the rain and storm does to the drive train, too tired to clean the bike right now but tomorrow I am gonna make it all nice and shiny
That reminds me, how does a New Zealander find a sheep in the tall grass?
Irresistible
I’ve heard it with a slightly different punchline… but yeah. Delightful
Know what you get when you cross Sheep DNA with Human DNA?
A lifetime ban from the petting zoo!
I thought the answer to that was going to be a Welshman
Much better:
I just emptied my second 100ml bottle of wet lube this year. I just want the rain to stop. Last two years I didn’t even need half a bottle of wet lube…
Doesn’t help that basically no bike paths were cleared of leaves this year and in this weather it just becomes slippery mud mixed with dirt and sand. I have had to clean the drive train almost every day for the past three months, usually once a week is more than enough maybe twice if the weather is bad…
Are those tyres really handmade?
Wow, one hundred thousand Kilometers, that’s really impressive. I can hardly wrap my head around that
Those are impressive numbers. Congrats.
My first thought was some variety of Lancair (based on the cooling intake ‘nostrils’)… But that’s an Adam 500 isn’t it?
Yes it is.
Read the Wiki article on the Adam A500 and it seems that not much went right with it. Plus the company can’t seem to keep from being sold to new owners and then they let it go out of business again.
