Thats some seriously worn teeth
I’m so bad at guessing the correct amount of torque…
It’s a nice wrench.
My tools:
Yeah, I had this cassette for about 6500km…
That’s a nice looking set!
I always try and fix something at about the same torque as when I removed it, factoring in that run-off torque and run-on torque might differ a little.
I have tool envy… ![]()
Speaking of torque wrenches … I bought my first one! (I’m tired of second guessing torque and that practice is probably dangerous anyway!) …
This thing is beautiful.
Another Linebacker post? Whaaat? Ya, I’m on vacation this week so expect a lot more posts from me. I might even get around to do some flight simming so get your popcorn ready.
@PaulRix sounds good - I’ll shout a beer!
me and my daughter enjoying a bikeride on the levee on the south bank of the river Waal as a detour on a grocery run.
That’s a funny place to put the nose gear…
on… the nose?
Trying to time the landing on that blade rotation is hard…
Which is why King Air Drivers are an elite group

We wa-wa-wa’d our way all the way to New Orleans today. Both jets are down for maintenance. I brought the Hornet NATOPS manual to read…

Thunderstorm season is upon us once again!
It rides completely different since Sunday. Amazing what a basically new drivetrain will do. Everything is quiet, so much easier to pedal. Just a dream to ride.
That does look nasty! Glad I didn’t have to deal with it this evening…
When do you go back on flight duty? Getting healed up OK?
I’m healing up well thanks Chris. It is taking a lot longer than I imagined though (this was the first time I have broken a bone). I figured a few weeks in the cast and I would be back at work. What I didn’t realize is that the cast itself does a lot of damage to muscles and tendons etc, so I have been hitting Physical Therapy pretty hard to get mobility and strength back in my wrist.
Hopefully I will be cleared to go back to work at the end of this month. The Physical Therapist did a grip strength test yesterday which was an eye opener. I can grip with my left hand with 90 Lbs of pressure, my right hand (the affected hand/wrist), only 35 Lbs. So, there is still some way to go.
In all honesty, I feel like I could go back to work right now, and if I had an office job I most certainly would have been back weeks ago. Something about me being a pilot makes the Docs a little nervous I guess.
