Look…in Winslow…you can see a guy “Just standing on a corner…”
I was thinking the opposite, how massive that structure’ has to be…
And a girl, in a flat bed Ford. It’s amazing what you can see from FL450!
It looks surprisingly rectangular.
But is it THE corner? They have billboards advertising that place for quite a few miles around along both I-40 AND I-10.
A new zoning ordnance when into effect in 2016, precluding round structures.
The terrain DB had an hiccup and still have to load some textures.
Got a “new” laptop. Second hand ThinkPad x220t,. It’s also a tablet, really nice and runs really well with Linux. I only really got it for programming anyway so I don’t need windows.
Just came back from vacation. First time multiple-day hiking for both me and my girlfriend. We went to the northern part of Kungsleden in Northern Sweden, from Nikkoluokta to Abisko, just over 100km. It was beautiful and I haven’t even ruined my feet. Only the knees are a bit fragile now.
Tip for hikers in Lapponia (Lappland): measure your progress in number of lemmings seen instead of kilometers.
Cool pics! Compound eyes…the next feature for VR.
Took a break from SimBox building to bury the fibre optic cable. Have to do all the digging on private property, myself. I put a protective flexipipe around it, so I won’t have to dig it up, should there be a problem.
Looking forward to decent internet speeds, in the very near future!
This photo description is not true at all. @Troll’s wife found out about all his sim projects, locked him in the basement, and now he is tunneling out. Good luck my friend.
I wish I had a basement she could lock me inside…!
Went tubing down the Green River outside of Saluda, NC yesterday. As always…a fantastic day on the river. One hour of floating, a picnic lunch, then a further three hours of drifting down the river to the takeout. Probably only one more weekend of summer-like tubing and the places along the river close up for the season.
Whenever I have seen a link trainer I am always amazed at small they are.
