Wooohooo! I had to Google it once and for all … Weber designed those for flat side up but I’m reading reports of people using them both ways depending on what they’re grilling. I think I’ll always be a pointy side up guy. ![]()
I was kind of thinking the pointy side up would make the grease sorta not pool under the meat perhaps…so I think that’s the way I might go with it. So before I screw it up…do you wipe it down with something prior to grilling? Like an anti-stick spray or something?
Get the grill hot hot, and clean it with a wire brush
I actually spray my grill with PAM … it seems to keep my slightly rusting iron grill in good shape. I used to use some olive oil on a cloth. Not something you need to do with that brand new grill though.
If you use a wire brush, make sure it’s good quality as my wife once got a wire bristle stuck in her gums … very painful …
I’ll probably be getting a Cedar scraper in the near future …

In a pinch it can be used to get you back down the creek…(I end up that creek often…)
CBR 600 PC31?
Oh very close, it’s a PC25! ![]()
Darnit i missed a few of the small differences, my PC31 looks almost the same.
Yeah The F2/F3 changes are most distinct in the fairing. Hard to spot otherwise.
Beach broke his leg, forgot his sat phone and thanked his lucky stars … ![]()
Wow, can you believe someone threw this log out LOL! I gave it a quick sand, screwed a couple of lag bolts into it to for level and gave it a quick stain/varnish coating …
Voila! Coffee table! …
Beer time!
…
Yup, made for a smoky Airshow this year in Abbotsford as well, we were one weekend off, had it waited a weekend, it would have cooled off to nullify the smoke.
Me likey
Nice. I saw the Spin Doctors back in 1993 or 1994, along with the Gin Blossoms. 3rd row. It was a pretty good show.
