I know most will find this kind of thing corny and unnecessary (and maybe at the price point…it is)…but I like this kind of stuff… Maybe @smokinhole could make use of it…
I did see that. I guess I get what they are going for. But Quatam River by Propstrike studios checks all the boxes already.
for those waiting for the DCS version
and one comment
yes I am, I just need to find some time to try her out. will report back soon
VSkyLabs have just released a major update to their DC3. It looks fantastic from the screenshots. Unfortunately I have made the leap to MSFS….
Downloading it now- and thinking about which legs to fly it on
The Kiowa is awesome. Total payware quality except for the cockpit texturing. And even that is quite good. But after the X-Trident CH-46 and other top machines, it’s easy to criticize everything that’s short of perfect
did some test flight with the Kiowa. really nice for freeware helo, cockpit looks very good.
flight characteristics are good imo, but I feel it would need some more inertia. its hard to simulate all the different weight categories beginning with ultra light helos and now with CH-46 at the opposite side.
but still my favourite ‘Bell 206’ in X-Plane is X-Trident Bell 412
here my testing ground, not really appropriate for this kind of helo I know
v2 of Concorde is out. $5 to upgrade if you are a current owner.
that Concorde is on my wishlist… but I just have kind of strange aversion to jetliners with engineer panel
I own the Concorde but have yet to fly it.
FlyJSim is currently live streaming their upcoming Q400 (Q4XP) release on Twitch
