So, this little beauty called my name this evening as I was browsing X-Plane.org (always a dangerous thing to do).

Pretty!

So you can blame the following on Froogle…

Fly Tampa’s Corfu scenery really is quite stunning! I also picked up Luton airport by UK2000 Scenery, also featured on Froogle’s news roundup this weekend. Sigh.

I haven’t flown into Corfu before, but I have taken the Challenger and Global into Luton on several occasions and I have to say the Luton Airport scenery is top notch.

He’s a problem. LOL… (I work with him…he’s cost me as much money as you…!)

Lol. Yes. His enthusiasm is infectious. I watched his Vive Pro review and for a moment I was seriously thinking about it…

Indeed, I would almost certainly jump on a Rift CV 1.5.

An early morning jaunt from Nantucket to Bangor ME in the Aerobask DA62…

It was a bit gray and dismal at Nantucket in the early morning light.

The DA62 doesn’t take long to fire up…

And we are soon on our way…

Heading North towards Boston.

Which is an impressive sight as we pass over the city and Boston Logan Intl airport (KBOS)…

Between Boston and Bangor, there are a lot of trees!

Nice and stabilized, flying the GPS approach to Bangor’s Runway 15.

Safely shut down at the FBO. Time for a cup of coffee and breakfast!

I really am enjoying the DA62. It is a pleasure to fly and the Laminar G1000 suite works very nicely.

I just bought the A330. I had been looking at it all week at the full price and it just went on sale for $48.75. I think the A330 is one of the prettiest of the Airbus line…although I still think the A318 is really adorable. No time tonight to explore it…but I’m excited to give it a whirl in the morning…

Nice! Is that a Kai Tak airport addon? The view from the cockpit vaguely reminds me of that.

Good eye. I just finished writing an article on it as a guest contributor for Airports of the World magazine. That is indeed the version of VHXX by slai:

Reminds of this FS9 scenery, Nine Dragons: http://aviation.narain.com/9dragons/index.html

The included PDF gave me many hours of enjoyment learning how to fly around Hong Kong of the Kai Tak era!

I’m having a blast with this - even though I have no idea what I’m doing. I think there is a lot of systems commonality with the A320, so I’d better bust out Chuck’s Guide

Looking good! I think I’m going to have to hold off on this one for now, but I’m very tempted to pull out the credit card…

I would definitely hold off because it does have some bugs and is more like an Airbus experience simulator than a true Airbus simulation like the Flight Factor A320. Although it is on sale…(also, I haven’t tried it in VR yet…)

Tooling around in the Cessna 207 that @Chipwich gifted me last year…!
