X-Plane 11 Screens

It’s far from finished (more of an Alpha than an early access Beta), but still fun and challenging to fly.

The Colimata Concorde for X-Plane…

Every screen awesome! Man how it sometime seems like we’ve gone backwards in time.

I hear you. Back then airplanes were designed to go faster than before. Every new design looked like step forward… today the emphasis is to cram on as many seats as possible and get it to the destination as cheaply as possible. Sigh.

Sigh indeed. LCD’s suck my soul.

There is not a single angle that makes that gorgeous machine look bad.

I think it may possibly be the most beautiful shape ever created.

Don’t get me wrong I think there are COOLER looking things (bac lightning, Victor k2. B58 hustler. Ch-53k. Mil-24 superhind mk v)
But nothing is as utterly beautiful and perfect as Charlize thero…i mean concorde. Concorde.

You would be happiest flying one of those 732’s somewhere out in Alaska doing all sorts of odd-job missions, right?

if they’d give me a call tomorrow to do MX I would jump on that… I probably am just as much of a sucker for that life as Smokin is

I must be sick in the head to spend any amount of time trying to get the SSJ-100 working in X-Plane 11, but there is a list of tweaks that allegedly will get it mostly there. I did manage to get the reflections/PBR fixed using that guide. Will have to tackle autopilot and stability issues next. Why? I know…why?

The Falke really does look lovely! Any chance of posting a couple of decent in cockpit shots so I can see which model it is? Do you know what engine is in that one as well? Looks like the Steyr front end but there could be a cheeky rotax in there wedged in. Our rotax is a monster compared to the older steyr we have

Nice. And as far as I can remember - VSkyLabs make all of their models VR compatible I think.

Here are some shots of the Falke that I posted last year when I picked it up…

Yep both are definitely VR friendly, and from Flight Manual the engine is a Limbach L2000, good details on the cockpit and features here:

Nice shots! That compass correction card around the whisky compass is neat. I also like the mix of glass and steam gauges in that cockpit…might be a contender for the Xmas journey, hmmm…
