:joy::joy:

I think we sort of peaked here.
People are getting too Eiger to add their own…

I chalk it up to a great sense of humor.

If it Alps, I’ll stop after this one.

Canyon not stop now?

Ok I should be able to Slab a few more together.

I rarely seen a statement Boulder than that…

Is this where I start flagging these for making the topic totally useless? :confused:

You can if you are feeling Crust-y

(but fair enough)

Just bought the ToLiss A319… I’m quite excited to figure out the differences it has with the A320.

My bank account, on the other hand, is not that excited about it. It’s been a difficult last couple of months: Harrier, MD-82, FF A320, ToLiss A319, FF 757… yikes!

I would be most interested to hear your thoughts on the A319 @Chuck_Owl . I went with the FF A320 but it really was a coin toss between that and the 319. I sat here this evening using your A320 guide which, although written for a different product, had all the information I needed to conduct a successful flight from KAUS to KDAL. Thanks for all the effort you put into that!

That’s good to know!

There are a few differences, mainly with things such as ground servicing, which is handled on the “iPad” on the FF A320. Other than that though, everything seems to work well. I’m still learning to “speak Airbus” on the FMS. It’s a bit different from the Collins and Honeywell units I am used to. Control of the autopilot modes is also rather different. I kind of miss my NAV, HDG, FLC, VS and VNAV buttons :wink:

Autopilot in the Airbus can be pretty much summed up as:

“If I pull a knob, I have control (set AP command). If I push a knob, the aircraft (FMS) has control.”

I’m sure I will get used to it soon enough. Every airplane that I have flown that was equipped with an autopilot used the mode button method. This is just a different design philosophy.

So here is one that falls under the interesting category. Payware from the guys over at X-Aviation…newly released TerraMaxx that is a season changer for X-Plane. Of course, I have no idea how this would work with Ortho - I would assume it doesn’t because that is imagery (?). It may only work to change the default scenery (pretty sure). So also, if you use add-on airports that use their own textures, I don’t think it would change those either. So I’d wait on some reviews to see just what this does before putting down any cash.
