Is anybody interested in playing Day of Infamy (Insurgency mod version, not standalone) sometime this week? I’m thinking Wednesday or Thursday. Any preference?

I had a good time on the mod version. Last night was fantastic play on the stand-alone. The final couple of maps were some of the best play I’ve had in DOI. Plus the development progress has so far seemed solid.

Last Friday’s Insurgency session was getting interesting too!
For some reason I’d overlooked some of Chief-C’s best maps so I added them to the rotation last minute before the session started and man were they looking good … Block Party, Bunker Busting, Tet!
Block Party in particular seemed to be an incredibly difficult and detailed city map … we’re going to need all the help we can to clear that thing out.
We didn’t even get to check out his other maps like Cu Chi Tunnels, Jail Break and POW Raid!
As per @Andrew116 suggestions, I’ve reviewed the Insurgency server settings, streamlined them where I could and added Day AND Night Survival coop mode to the rotation which accounts for 30 new scenarios alone!
Be careful what you vote for between rounds now since there are 65 variations of Insurgency to choose from … and there will be a lot of voting going on since I’m going to try a “one round per map” setup to keep things spicy … so “Be careful, stick together and don’t die”. (you’ll still be able to vote replay)
Also, for some reason Dry Canal and Verticality had disappeared from the rotation so they’re back in.
As reminded to me by chipwich’s unbelievable new bandwidth post, Hear me now and believe my Internet speed later, I’ve been looking into getting a 1Gb fiber optic line directly to my house as well. I already have “partial” fibre optic service with my current ISP … just not DIRECTLY TO MY FRIGGIN’ HOUSE!
EDIT - reviewed some server settings for IFF and we’ll now call it the “dirty dozen” server.
EDIT - also REALLY nice to see “no fly zones” in red on the tacmap … it highlights the current AO really nice.
If you pull up the console with the ~ key in DoI and type in mp_coop_lobbysize, it says maximum 8 players. Hopefully NWI will increase this in the future.
The new armory mod is interesting. The aim sway is the only part that threw me, but I think I can adapt. As you mentioned last night Linebacker, just slowing and preparing early for the attack should give time for the aim to settle. Something I’ll work on next session.
