That’s a man you trust to pee with the toilet seat down.

I spent my whole childhood getting my house battered by VC10 noise. I can still hear them if i concentrate
I’ll definitely be getting it as well

Update. Didn’t even know this existed. Love the part about passengers using the facilities.

If I understand correctly, this would create a new Virtual Airline Releases subgroup and break the posts out of this thread into individual threads?

The inspiration for?

Yeah I guess I stepped in it. Nothing should change based on my input. I’m just a dude with an unusually, sometimes shockingly, short memory. For people with my unfortunate limitations, having information centralized would be helpful. Others probably do fine without it. Really, I am asking Mudspike to do for me what the dot org site fails to do, make stuff I am interested in searchable. Right now, if you go there to look for forkboy2’s orthos you will have to wade through pages and pages of unhelpful forum posts which only MENTION his work without even the courtesy of linking it. It took me 15 minutes to find it even though it is one of the most popular add-ons for X-Plane.

Forum discussions are great. But they are fleeting. Once a thing is discussed and shows merit, it becomes lost and buried by its very popularity.

For my memories of a RL VC10 flight see So No Joke, There I Was - #39 by Hangar200

Needless to say, I shall be getting this! I have a flight to recreate!

Not the only one. I have been known to open a thread like this one and scroll waaaay back looking for something I thought I read here

I think a resources section for the Mudspike Air Hauler/FSE areas of interest is a great idea. Chris has been finding some gems when it comes to small bush airfields and landing strips, but once the general conversation adds 50+ posts, they take some digging to find again.

I also liked the tag idea. Makes it super easy to search for scenery or planes or plugins or whatnot even if it’s not related to AH2 or fse

Has anyone else tried the HMB SR22T yet? It’s a really nice add-on and pretty amazing for freeware. Everything except for the sound. It sounds pretty weak to me, but I’ve never flown or ridden in a Cirrus IRL. The ones that I’ve heard taxing by sound much meaner than the add-on. I’m wondering if I’m missing something.

I just fired up. Very nicely done. I’m with you on the sounds. Engine sounds like its on a 1 sec loop.

Ha, it took me a while to find the keys. The beers were good though!

Looks like the new PC6 by Thranda is coming along. More pics and videos in later posts.

I’m not sure if you guys are into the mountain sceneries by Frank Dainese and Fabio Bellini, but the org store is having a flash sale right now. I just picked up the Eiger and Mt Blanc sceneries at a great discount. Their Everest park, and the Dolomite’s parts 1-3 are on sale too. They said the flash sales will only last a few hours so get them while you can.

I already have their Matterhorn scenery and it is great, especially for helicopter ops.

The Dolomites would be worth a pick-up I think. The only disappointment for me so far has been Tierra del Fuego.

Unfortunately the flash sale already ended. I haven’t installed my two new areas yet, but I just fired up the Matterhorn with the Bell 412 in VR. Silky smooth and visually stunning. I should have spent more time flying with this scenery before now.

4 posts were split to a new topic: Aero Commander 500S

The Nimbus UH1 is up too! Well worth picking up at that price.

Let me know how it is. I’m not finding any comparisons to carenados.

Edit. Pulled the trigger.
