B-25 in deep doo doo.

One of an ammo dump and a couple of trucks.

The unique part of this image is the truck in the foreground. It is not a stationary vehicle like the one in the background. The truck in the foreground is a moving vehicle that I spent way more than just a few minutes tweaking the last two waypoints over and over to actually get that truck to back into that spot under the camouflage nets consistently.

Too close for comfort. :scream:

I am the Hurricane going vertical.

I flew over the top of one Hurricane that was down low and being chased by the Me-109, then I flew underneath the Me-109, and then up in between the Me-109 and another Hurricane that was chasing it at a closing speed of 500 to 600 mph. It happened so fast that I did not have time to think how impractical and darn near suicidal was the course of action I had taken.

I had pulled up to take a pot shot at the Me-109 and miraculously I flew behind it and in front of the pursuing fighter instead of hitting either one of them. Lol, something else I would really like to see is a shot taken from the cockpit of the pursing Hurricane.

Here is roughly what that pass would have looked to Pilot in the other Hurricane.

Close call. That is an Me-410 in my windscreen.

An external shot that shows me flying between two major pieces of the aircraft.

It happened on the 352ndVFG’s Great Battles server earlier this evening.

Those 20mm Hispano’s in the Tempest are deadly. What started out as 1 on 3 with me being the 1 ended up being 3 on 1 after I took out the first two of the 3 enemy aircraft. Luck was with me and I ended up taking out all 3. No AI aircraft all 6 were Player flown aircraft. I would have been the casualty had I been flying the P-51.

My first victory

Taking Sighter out first was pure luck and the best one to take down first. His flying skills are an order of magnitude better than mine. Had I jumped one of the other two first I would almost certainly have been the casualty.

My Second Victory

& My third Victory

I took down the first two in about 60 seconds after I spotted the first aircraft and the entire engagement took just over 3 minutes.

Nice job! I think the Tempest is highly underrated, though my gunnery skills with the Hispanos aren’t up to the standard you’re setting there!

The main thing I’d say in defence of the pony is that it’s easier to run away… but if you’re already down low I’m not sure that’s true compared to the Tempest! The thing is a demon!

Most often I am not the predator but the prey.
